If you are planning to move your office we can help you move your phone system, including lines, IT equipment, data cabinets, computers, servers etc.
Step 1: We audit your current offices, visit your proposed new site and work out a time table for your move. You have the option of letting Techno do all or part of your communications, IT and data relocation.
Step 2: We discuss what your needs are and the options you have, including:
- A complete structured cabling solution to Cat5e or Cat6 standards. Or even to the proposed 10GBase-T Ethernet, Cat 6A standard.
- Expanding your current phone system, or, installing a complete new system to take advantage of new, advanced features like IP telephony, VOIP trunking and POE (Power over Ethernet).
- Moving your existing internet service or upgrading to a new ADSL2+, SHDSL or Business Grade DSL. Either way, we will liaise with your chosen ISP to reduce any down time when you move.
- Remote support for your phone and or/IT equipment (if possible).
- Whether you need new active equipment such as switches (Gigabit Ethernet), servers or new workstations (PCs). And whether you need a new data cabinet.
- Whether you want to provide power protection via a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply).
- And, whether you want Techno to organize your power/electrical cabling.
Step 3: Once you sign off on the relocation proposal, we will begin work and give you regular updates with how the fit out of your offices is going. We will also keep in you informed of the ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) of any new equipment. We also provide you with access to the Techno Helpdesk in case you have any queries prior to, during or after the move.
Step 4: After the move, we will discuss any issues or changes you may want, and if you have purchased a new phone system, whether we need to fine tune the programming. Basic training is provided for any equipment we have installed.
Step 5: As an Techno customer, you have access to ongoing support via the Techno Helpdesk. Usually the charges are either time-and-material (fee-for-service) or a pre-arranged maintenance agreement. Remote support is also available.
